SureQuest was founded in 1984 as a technology consulting business, representing software products primarily aimed at the institutional foodservice industry. The company introduced its first software management solution in 1993.

In 1996, SureQuest became a publicly traded company, and is currently trading on the “pink sheets” under the symbol SUQU.  The management team is dedicated to providing the resources to grow the company rapidly and position SureQuest as the leading provider of nutrition and foodservice management systems in North America.

To implement that vision, SureQuest acquired the industry’s leading Windows® food service software program from Postive Input, Inc. in 1998. The acquisition of the ThreeSquares™ Nutrition and Foodservice Management Software System from Positive Input, coupled with the breadth of SureQuest’s other products and services and its key Partnerships and Alliances, have provided the main ingredients for positioning SureQuest as a leader in total dietary management solutions for the healthcare and other institutional food service environments in North America.

SureQuest has primarily focused on the Long-Term Care segment of the healthcare industry, and more specifically nursing homes, assisted living facilities and continuing care retirement communities. SureQuest products are also used in many other settings including hospitals, educational institutions and corrections facilities. SureQuest currently serves over 1,000 facilities in the United States and Canada.

Software Integration has become the ‘buzzword’ in the LTC marketplace.  Recognizing the importance of ‘sharing data’ between other internal information systems and the Dietary Office for Admissions, Discharges and Transfers and other information important to a persons’ care and well being – SureQuest works with other leading software innovators and vendors to assure that the Dining Department does not become an isolated ‘silo’ within the building when it must be part of the mainstream of information.
